Huge (in height and somewhat weight) fan of the Chtorr series, When H.A.R.L.I.E. was One, Release 2.0, the Tracker series, and pretty much most everything you have done. You are in top 5 of my favorite authors, which now includes Jim Butcher and John Scalzi among others.

Please, please, please provide occasional (monthly?) updates on next book (and last 2) for Chtorr series. Over the years, you have mentioned some of the progress made, so I have high hopes to see the rest of series in next 10 years or so. You have crafted an INCREDIBLE tale and a vibrant ecology, and cannot wait for the answers to the mysteries you have laid out, and what out hero will do by the end.

i promise to buy re-releases and both hardcover and paperback versions of the novels. Likewise, if I see you at a con, I will gladly donate towards your “Writer’s Fund”.

    Feed my addiction!

I’m a huge fan, Mr. Gerrold! 🙂 I’m eagerly awaiting the next installment of the Chtorr series.

Is there any sign of ebook releases of the previous Chtorr books?

    Thanks!

So glad to see the new page David. I want to win a copy of the book on The trouble with Tribbles. I had it when it first came out and an ex decided to toss it to make room for his civil war history books. Can’t wait to get into some of your other books too!

Been a fan since i read my first chtorr book… I’d also be keen to see an e-book release of the chtorr series (and the new one!). Also would love to see book collections with multiple books at a discount.

My favorite works? Hard to say. “Martian Child,” of course. All of his work with PHASE II. And “The Trouble With Tribbles,” naturally.

But I have also had the privilege of working with David; first, in a fantastic interview he granted for Glassworks Magazine; and second, he wrote a wonderful foreword for my book “New Life and New Civilizations: Exploring Star Trek Comics.”

So, naturally I’m going to pick THAT as my favorite. 🙂

Though I’m REALLY looking forward to “A Doctor for the Enterprise.”

So good to see something new on the website. Hopefully this is a hint of better things to come. 🙂

Almost afraid to mention it these days, but I’ll go with the obvious choice of the Chtorr stuff. With that said, I’ve read the bulk of David’s books and I have yet to find one I didn’t like.

Some of your stories have changed my life. I don’t have time to write more now, but I am linking to a blog post describing how the Chtorr books came to be discussed in a dissertation on “Reading Through Madness: Counter-Psychiatric Epistemologies and the Biopolitics of (In)sanity in Post-World War II Anglo Atlantic Women’s Narratives”

For me the Chtorr books definitely fit in my personal top 3 works along with LOTR and Hyperion. Fingers crossed we are all soon able to follow Jim McCarthy’s struggle against the invasion in next books.
Have a nice day and have fun writing 😉 I mean… storytelling 🙂

My favorite work is hard to choose. I love the Chtorr series. Child of Earth and Child of Grass amazed me. I wanted to be along for the journey on Leaping for the Stars.

    Can’t decide
